What time is the event?
The gates are open from 10am to 6pm however the boy scouts pancake breakfast starts at 8am.
Where is it located?
At the Placer County Fairgrounds in Roseville, 800 All America City Blvd., Roseville, CA 95678
Do we have to bring a float to be in the parade?
No. But you do have to have a silly costume or silly hat. If you have a float you get a free admission to BerryFest. A float is anything that is berry decorated with wheels; wagon, stroller, homemade, etc. 1 rolling float gets one free admission.
Where should we park?
The boy Scouts charge $5 for parking in Gate C (Follow the signs to parking) but if you hunt around and are okay with walking a bit there is plenty of free parking on the street (watch out for the permit only parking),in Downtown Roseville and Historic Roseville.
Can I bring my doggy to BerryFest?
Yes and NO. The long answer is that we are dog lovers and dog owners and would love to bring our dogs with us to BerryFest however there are so many small children at this event and we want them and their parents to be comfortable, we found that most families don’t have a dog in the house and are not comfortable with large dogs around their kids so we have made the decision that dogs will only be allowed on Sunday from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. We did a study and the average person visited BerryFest for almost two hours so this five hour window is accommodating for our dog loving friends. Luke (our dog) will be there at 1pm on Sunday.
How much is it to get into BerryFest?
Age 5 and under are Free, ages 6 to 12 are $5, ages 13 to 59 are $10.00, and Seniors 60+ are $5.00
Can I bring a picnic?
Yes, even though we have many foods, treats and drinks to choose from we understand that many people have allergies and or don’t have the extra food costs in their budget so we allow you to bring your own foods. The only rule to this is that you may not share with people that are not with you and no outside alcohol is allowed. Security will have to look through your belongings however food is welcome so long as you don’t share. Sorry, beverages are not allowed per California law because we have an alcohol permit on premises.
Will the event be cancelled if it rains?
No. Unless the conditions become extreme we will be open rain or shine
